Camp Courageous
fosters socialization, independence and
educational opportunities through a community based outdoor
recreational program for individuals with developmental
disabilities. Our overall mission is to improve the quality
of life for people with developmental disabilities, through
an array of outdoor recreational programs including
overnight and weekend camping for children and adults and
day camp programs for children with disabilities. Campers of
all ages have access to aquatics, arts and crafts, sports,
recreation and leisure programs, nature, drama, cookouts and
campfires. This same camping experience is often taken for
granted when no special circumstances exist.

The mission of
Gliding Stars
is to provide individuals with special needs
the opportunity to experience peer interaction, therapeutic
exercise, a sense of accomplishment, and to increase their
self esteem through the sport of ice skating. To showcase
these accomplishments Gliding Stars puts on an end-of-season
ice show.

Heartbeat of
Toledo
is a pregnancy support center that provides
assistance to pregnant women as well as new mothers and
fathers in need. Heartbeat offers free pregnancy tests, a
chance to explore options, emotional support, and help
finding needed resources. Heartbeat’s Heart to Heart
Learning Center is an “earn while you learn” program where
new and expectant parents learn valuable parenting skills
while earning baby items. Heartbeat also offers free
layettes for new babies as well as diapers and formula on an
emergency basis.

The mission of the
Make-A-Wish
Foundation of Northwest Ohio is to grant wishes of
children with life-threatening medical conditions, to enrich
the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The
Northwest Ohio Chapter has granted more than 1200 wishes in
our 25 year history. Fulfillment of these wishes has been
made possible through the generous financial support of
individuals and the business community throughout our
region. All funds raised in Northwest Ohio are used to grant
wishes for children
in the 21 counties that comprise Northwest Ohio.

Mary
Immaculate School is a Catholic school that offers
education to students who have been identified with learning
disabilities or are at-risk for failure in traditional
classrooms because of their learning difficulties but who do
not qualify for special education services. We are the only
Catholic school in Northwest Ohio dedicated strictly to
educating these unique learners and have been empowering
students for since 1960. Mary Immaculate is sponsored by
the Sisters of Notre Dame.

SAFY is a leading
national foster care agency with offices in eight states.
For 25 years, children who have experienced the worst in
life have found hope for a better life through SAFY. Today
SAFY programs and services go beyond therapeutic foster care
and extend to thousands of families across the country.
SAFY’s goal is to provide loving homes for children in need.

Sunshine Inc.
of Northwest Ohio is a non-profit organization in
Maumee, Ohio, with a 60 year track record of enriching the
lives of people with developmental disabilities by
encouraging them to expand their skills, become involved in
their communities and reach their fullest potential. The
mission of Sunshine is to create community among people with
developmental disabilities, their families, friends and
staff. We do this by offering services that enable all of
us to build relationships that enhance our lives through
mutual caring and growth. Sunshine is dedicated to
celebrating each individual’s unique abilities, interests
and hopes through meaningful activities and programs that
include residential and supported living services, community
recreation, respite care, a collaborative arts studio,
family support services, a therapeutic riding center, family
care homes, a greenhouse program and supported employment
opportunities, among others.

Toledo Community Recreation
Program will provide youth with an array of
recreational programming to enhance their physical,
emotional and social well-being.
The Toledo Community Recreation Program (TCRP) has
offered various sporting activities and recreational
programs for children living in the neighborhoods of Toledo
since 1997. We use sports activities like basketball,
softball/baseball, flag football, tennis, volleyball and
golf as a vehicle to build self esteem, promote respect, and
get disadvantaged youth living active, healthy lifestyles.

The Toledo
Symphony
sustains a working community of musical
artists in our area who perpetuate the experience of superb
musical performances and continuous musical education for
all people. Featuring nearly 80 full-time musicians, the
TSO lives out its mission by producing more than 400
performances annually that reach 300,000 listeners,
including 50,000 children.
The musicians of the TSO are its heart
and soul, and perform Classics, Pops, Mozart and More, and
Chamber Series performances, Neighborhood and Regional
Concerts, and an extensive menu of educational programming.

Ronald McDonald
House Charities Ronald McDonald House Charities
has been the Tournament’s permanent charity for the past 22
years. The 14-bed facility offers a place for family members
of hospitalized children to rest, relax, eat, and share
concerns with people who care.
No family is ever
turned away because of the inability to pay. Community
support such as the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic
Presented by Kroger enables the RMH to continue its

JFOCC Scholarship Fund of the Toledo Community Foundation
In 1995 the Jamie Farr Scholarship Fund created yet another
way to support the youth of Toledo. Each year since its
inception, Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan high school
seniors receive an annual scholarship toward their college
tuition. The scholarship is a $3,000 annual award for four
years. In order to keep the scholarship, the student must
achieve and maintain a 2.5 accumulative grade point average
by the end of the first school year, and each year
