Jamie Farr Owens
Corning Classic Presented by Kroger Announces
Birdies for Charity Program
The Jamie Farr Owens Corning
Classic has an exciting new way for Northwest Ohio
children’s charities to cash-in on the birdies made
during the competitive rounds of the 2008
tournament. The Birdies for Charity is geared
towards raising thousands of additional dollars for
this year’s charities.
The way Birdies for Charity
works is for the tournament charities to obtain
pledges of 1 cent or more for every “birdie” made
during the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic
tournament rounds (Thursday thru Sunday). Birdies
for Charity will donate 100 percent of the money
received to the designated tournament charities. The
tournament office will invoice those who filled out
pledge forms following the 2008 JFOCC and collect
all monies.
